The RH Experience are a 5* improvised comedy sketch group, who have been performing together for a decade.
Our monthly night at London’s improvised comedy club The Miller, RH and Friends, sells out every month. We have performed up and down the UK, at venues including the Soho Theatre, Leicester Square Theatre, Brighton Komedia and Alexandra Palace. We broadcast a weekly improvised radio show on Camden’s Roundhouse Radio; Played Up which is now looking for a new home.
Our YouTube channel has had over a million video views, and was awarded Google's YouTube NextUp prize in 2011.
Our improvisation experience has taken us into companies and brands, such as ASOS, Uber, Google, Microsoft and BlackBerry who hire us to run workshops, provide consultancy, and energise products and teams.

Inspired by conversation with the audience, Stuck! tells the story of three characters trapped by fate. Who and where they are is different every time. Their stories unfold using fast-paced flashbacks and cutaways; sometimes joyous, sometimes tragic, always absurd...
High energy silliness, mixed with commitment and intelligence, leads to an engaging tale that the audience will never forget, but will also never see again.
Stuck! premiered in London in late 2013, and is The RH Experience’s first story-driven improvised show. After six months of continuous development, we took Stuck! to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2014, where its unique combination of strong narrative and instantaneous humour brought in packed crowds and five-star reviews from renowned festival publications, such as Three Weeks.
In August 2015, Stuck! returned to Edinburgh for a successful second run, this time at the prestigious Gilded Balloon.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us for bookings and enquiries about Stuck!
New for 2016, The RH Experience presents Scribble; a flowing long-form narrative punctuated by spontaneous songs, all against an ever-changing, live illustrated backdrop.
Guest illustrators and animators (such as the incredibly talented Ed Stockham) use our classic 1980s overhead projector to provide the scenes’ backgrounds and additional characters, all based on audience input before the show. We even give the audience the chance to draw their own, if they like!
With its charming, lo-fi aesthetic, twinned with razor-sharp improvisation and character-driven narratives, Scribble’s unique format is equally at home in comedy clubs, theatres and gallery spaces.

The benefits of improvisation are increasingly being discovered and leveraged in the corporate world. Outside of comedy clubs and theatre games, the techniques and mindset required by performing improvisers have significant value when applied to idea and content generation, team building and dysfunction diagnosis, and solidification of a group identity.
The RH Experience provide consultancy services and have developed custom workshops for numerous companies and brands, including Google / YouTube, Microsoft / Skype, and BlackBerry, as well as non-profit groups and schools. Contact us to discuss more about how we can help your business, and tailor an improvisation workshop to your team’s requirements.
The RH Experience have also coached a number of London-based improvisers and troupes; we also have our own monthly workshops in the pipeline for 2016 - watch this space! If there’s anything specific we can assist with, please take a look at our individual profiles and expertise, and don’t hesitate to get in touch if one (or more) of us can help you develop your skills!
